Welcome to Shaqra University
Shaqra University was established on August 24, 2009, by the decision of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Prime Minister and the Chairman of the Higher Education Council, Saudi Arabia. The university currently has 20 colleges distributed in the governorates and sub-governorates, namely Shaqra, Al-Quwaiiyah, Al-Duwadimi, Sajir, Dhurma, Afif, Al-Muzahimiyah, and Thadiq wa Mahmal. The colleges of Shaqra University are spread across a wide area of approximately 400 km2.
Shaqra University is one of the most recent Saudi universities whose establishment was issued by the Royal Decree, as the Noble Royal Decree No. (7305/MB dated 3/9/1430 AH) was issued to establish Shaqra University. The headquarters of the university is located in the city of Shaqra. The university currently includes thirteen colleges distributed in several governorates and centers, namely: Shaqra, Al-Quway’iyah, Dawadmi and Afif. These colleges include many academic departments, which award various degrees. scientific studies in higher education for theoretical, applied, engineering, medical and technical disciplines; These disciplines cover the city of Shaqra and its affiliated governorates, and the area of the university campus is (13,707,436 square meters).
About the College of Engineering
The College of Engineering at Shaqra University was established in 1429 H. It is committed to providing the best teaching and research tools that serve the community and become an effective partner in the industry. The College offers BSc in Electrical, Civil, and Mechanical Engineering. The engineering programs provide the broad knowledge that university students need. The goal of the College is to provide robust education and constructive research that meets all the needs of the country.

RETMCS 2024 is the most energetic, instructive, inspirational, and creative event ever hosted by Shaqra University’s College of Engineering. Our conference provides a chance to connect outstanding people from all around the world with decision-makers and infinite prospects. The 2024 conference will focus on the state of the art and practice in various sustainable development goals (SDGs); being one of the most promising and trending engineering fields, this topic is currently evolving quickly. Along with a variety of presentations on challenging projects and research, RETMCS 2024 will include various guest speakers on certain subjects. The conference will feature a variety of educational technical and panel sessions and workshops
