AUTHOR GUIDELINES
Thank you for considering submitting your work to the Renewable Energy Technologies and Modern Communications Systems: Future and Challenges Conference (RETMCS 2024). This page provides essential information for authors on how to prepare and submit their papers for review and publication in IEEE Xplore.
1. Submission Guidelines :
Paper Format: All submissions must be in English and adhere to the IEEE conference paper format. Authors must use the IEEE template, which is available in both Microsoft Word and LaTeX formats. Papers should be formatted in doublecolumn, single-spaced, using a 10-point font on A4 paper.

Length and Content: Papers should not exceed 6 pages, including all figures, tables, and references. Each paper should clearly state:
• The problem being addressed
• The approach taken
• Results obtained
• The significance of the contribution
File Format: All paper submissions must be in PDF format. Ensure that the PDF is IEEE Xplore-compatible. Authors can use IEEE’s PDF eXpress service to verify and convert their files to the correct format.
Originality and Plagiarism: Submissions must be original, unpublished work. They should not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Plagiarism and self-plagiarism are strictly prohibited and will result in automatic rejection of the paper. Authors are encouraged to use plagiarism detection software before submission .
Peer-Review Process: Each paper will undergo a rigorous double-blind prereview process by at least two reviewers. Authors must ensure that their manuscripts are anonymized; all references to authors’ affiliations, funding sources, or other identifying information should be removed.
2. Paper Submission Process:
Submission System: Authors must submit their papers electronically via the conference submission portal. Please follow the instructions carefully to ensure your paper is uploaded correctly. Review and Decision Notification: After submission, papers will be reviewed based on originality, technical quality, relevance, and clarity of presentation. Authors will be notified of the review decision by [14-November-2024].
Camera-Ready Submission: Accepted papers will need to be revised according to reviewers’ comments and submitted as camera-ready versions by [21-November-2024]. Please ensure all author names and affiliations are correct, as no changes will be allowed after submission.
3. Preparation for Camera-Ready Submission:
Final Manuscript Preparation: Accepted authors must prepare their final manuscripts using the IEEE templates provided, ensuring adherence to all formatting guidelines. The final manuscript should not exceed 6 pages. Over-length charges apply beyond this limit.
IEEE Xplore Compatibility: All camera-ready papers must be IEEE Xplorecompliant. Authors should use the IEEE PDF eXpress service to check compliance and convert their files. Papers that do not meet IEEE Xplore standards will not be included in the proceedings.
4.Presentation at the Conference :
Author Registration: At least one author of each accepted paper must register for the conference by the early registration deadline and present the paper at the conference. Failure to register and present will result in removal from the conference proceedings and IEEE Xplore.
Presentation Format: Authors will be allotted 15 minutes to present their paper, followed by a 5-minute Q&A session. Presentations must be in English. Authors should prepare slides in a clear, professional format. Instructions for slide submission will be provided closer to the conference date.
5. Ethics and Conduct :
Publication Ethics: All authors are expected to adhere to the highest standards of publication ethics. This includes proper citation of sources, avoiding data fabrication or falsification, and ensuring that all listed authors have significantly contributed to the research.
Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest in their manuscript.
Code of Conduct: The conference promotes an inclusive and respectful environment for all participants. Authors are expected to behave professionally and courteously at all times.
